Vivo and ZEISS will jointly develop an imaging system for Vivo’s high-end smartphones, it was announced as part of a strategic partnership. The upcoming Vivo X60 series will be the first product line with the Vivo ZEISS imaging system, jointly developed by Vivo.
The two companies have joint projects to set up a research and development (R&D) program called Vivo ZEISS Imaging Lab.
Through this collaboration, Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, and ZEISS, a German-based global leader in optics and opto-electronics, join forces in the development of mobile photo technology.
In addition to the joint research and development programme, the companies will launch the Vivo ZEISS Master Photography campaign to promote the imaging system developed jointly by Vivo ZEISS and introduce users to the creative features of Vivo’s flagship smartphones.
This partnership will make ZEISS imaging technology available to more consumers.
