When you visit the website, it is sometimes possible that there is an error in the title of this article. This error may or may not be accompanied by other problems. For most people, it’s confusing.
The DLG_FLAGS_INVALID_CA error, or several other errors indicating something similar, such as DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_CN_INVALID or DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_DATE_INVALID, indicates a security certificate error, also known as a website SSL certificate.
In this article we will talk about these errors, their causes and what can be done to eliminate them in the end.

The above errors occur when there is a problem with the site’s security certificate. These certificates are issued to websites that are secure and that process your data securely. If the site does not have this certificate, it can declare a fishmongers shop.
Usually the webmaster or the administrator/developer of the site has neither
- SSL security certificate already installed
- The safety certificate has not been installed correctly.
- has not renewed the safety certificates.
A plain text error associated with these errors often indicates that attackers are trying to steal your information from the domain name.com site (e.g. passwords, messages or credit cards) or something similar.
Most people close the site when they see it by default and stop visiting it, but it’s not as bad as it sounds.

As you can see in the screenshot above, you have two options.
- Close the site
- Click on the Advanced button, which gives you access to the website in all cases.
Well, depending on what you want to do on the site, it’s perfectly normal to just visit it. If you just want to see something, you can go ahead.
However, we recommend that you do not fill in any forms or provide information to these sites until you see these errors. Once the website has been repaired and the error corrected, all data you enter is guaranteed to be stored by the certificate provider.

This problem mainly occurs in the background and is solved by the site administrator. But there could be something wrong with you.
Here are some things you can try:
- Empty the browser cache (this is what Chrome and Edge do).
- Try a different browser.
- Make sure that the date and time in the system are correct.
Although some guides recommend disabling the Warning if the certificate addresses do not match access to these sites, we strongly advise you not to do so as this may compromise your entire Internet experience.
If all is well, the server administrator may not have updated the certificate or installed it correctly. If you can contact them, please send them a message highlighting the problem (perhaps a link to this article).
